WAMI Award winner Nick Rockett started the GBR project back in 2015, and has worked with various artists at events/venues/festivals across Australia. With Charm Quayle adding her unique songwriting skills and powerful vocals GBR has developed into a strong entertainment unit.

Based in Cairns, Far North Queensland, the band draws its inspiration from people as diverse as: Paul Kelly, BB King, Deep Purple, Pink, The Kinks, Santana, Katy Perry and Johnny Cash. You'll find blues, folk, rock, pop (maybe even some country) in their repertoire. From laid back dining music to upbeat dance songs GBR can create the atmosphere you want for your event.
